Ryan recently sat down with Associated Press at the 2018 San Diego Comic Con booth during Comic Con on July 27th to discuss the disrespect and racist attacks towards people of color in the mainstream media and more recently, the racist attacks towards his co-star in Titans, Anna Diop; who plays Starfire / Kory Anders in the show.
The interview also shows parts of the Titans trailer that was released during San Diego Comic Con as well.
iTunes has made Running for Grace available for pre-order today, July 30th, and it’ll automatically be added to your iTunes Library on August 17th when the film releases.
Running for Grace Synopsis:
An orphan boy of mixed race finds family with the newly arrived white village doctor in Hawaii. The boy can run like the wind, and begins bringing Doc’s medicine to coffee pickers throughout the mountainous region. On an errand, the medicine runner meets the daughter of the plantation owner and a forbidden, young love blossoms like the white “Kona Snow” of the surrounding coffee trees.
Just last week on July 20th, 2018, Running For Grace opened in theaters in certain parts of Hawaii, mainly Kauai, Maui, Honolulu and Kailua-Kona to sold out crowds and also breaking records as it ranked number seven in the nation of averages earned per theater. The crowds and audiences were so big through each theater that more auditoriums had to be opened just to hold everyone.
Tomorrow, July 27th, 2018, Running For Grace will open in select theaters in Hilo, Hawaii at the Hilo Palace Theater while audiences and fans in the United States has to wait until August 17th, 2018 to enjoy the movie in theaters, on demand and on iTunes.
Titans is another project of Ryan’s that was originally announced in the beginning of January 2016 to be originally aired on TNT. Eventually though TNT decided not to move forward with it’s Titans adaption and which caused the upcoming DC Universe streaming service to take it and advertise it as it’s flagship show debuting when the service itself debuts.
The show is based around DC’s superheroes, the Teen Titans and will follow them through their ups and downs. The trailer finally premiered this past weekend at San Diego Comic Con where DC Universe held a Pop-Up Experience booth. Ryan only appears in the trailer for a total of three seconds, we’re hoping that throughout the season he has plenty of screentime despite hardly being in the trailer which you can check out below:

Originally being referred to as Jo, The Medicine Runner and Ryan being attached to it since 2016, we have finally learned that the movie name has been changed to Running for Grace and now has a mainland release date!
Running for Grace is a Drama / Romance movie starring Ryan Potter, Matt Dillon, Olivia Ritchie & Sam Caviezel that will be released on the mainlands on August 17th, 2018. It was released in Hawaii (where it was filmed) in theaters on July 20th, 2018.
