NICKELODEON’S BIG TIME RUSH, SUPAH NINJAS WIN TIME PERIODS ACROSS ALL TV
NEW YORK – June 28, 2011 – Nickelodeon scored on Saturday night (June 25) with new episodes of live-action hits Big Time Rush and Supah Ninjas. A new episode of Big Time Rush, “Big Time Break Up”( 8 p.m. ET/PT), delivered 3.6 million total viewers and cinched the top spot in the time period across broadcast and basic cable with kids 2-11 (5.3/1.9 million), kids 6-11 (7.0/1.5 million), tweens 9-14 (6.6/1.4 million) and total viewers. The new episode bested its closest competition by double-digits with total viewers (+95%), kids 2-11 (+77%), kids 6-11 (+67%) and T9-14 (+120%).
The primetime premieres continued with the latest addition to Nick’s live-action roster, Supah Ninjas, at 8:30 p.m. The half-hour episode drew 2.6 million total viewers and won its time period with kids 2-11 (4.2/1.5 million), kids 6-11 (5.6/1.2 million) and tweens 9-14 (4.8/1.0 million). Supah Ninjas outpaced its closest competitor by double-digits with total viewers (+43%), kids 2-11 (+56%), kids 6-11 (+51%) and tweens 9-14 (+71%).
