The world’s been buzzing about it, Gracie’s been baking for it, and tons of supah fans have been patiently awaiting its arrival! It’s the hour-long premiere of the epic Supah Ninjas special, ‘Ishina’! But don’t let yourself spiral into a frantic craze of anticipation, just yet. ‘Cause we’ve got some inside deets that’ll hold you over until the episode finally hits the tube tomorrow. ClevverTV sat down with Gracie Dzienny, Ryan Potter, and Carlos Knight to chat all about the upcoming supah special, and we’ve got all the highlights, here.

Ryan started by explaining a little bit about the episode. He spilled, “This is kind of the turning point for the Supah Ninjas. You haven’t seen anything like this! There’s crazy action scenes, there’s a lot of drama, and there’s a lot of twist and turns for the ninjas.” And Carlos added, “And Ishina is actually the name of a clan of ninja that we have to fight over this special thing, called the Floating Sword.”

But what were some of the best things about shooting for this extra-long, action-packed episode? Well, Gracie said, “We got to film in this market place. And I thought that was really cool, because each area had little trinkets and little things. And I loved looking through them and seeing all that. And then there was a huge fight scene that took place there.”

And Ryan dished, “I like the action in this episode, ’cause it’s bigger than life. You go into the past, then you go to present day, and you see the robot, you see us, you see the Ishina. And it’s just this whole mess of people, all kind of trying to fight to protect themselves, and basically, protect the Floating Sword.”

Then Carlos added, “I thought it was cool to see a lot of the secrets finally being revealed. Because, if you watch the show, you know that Grandfather has some things that he hasn’t necessarily told us, and you kinda try to figure those things out. We find out a lot about him and a lot about Mike’s destiny…a lot about the dojo. There are secrets there that we didn’t know. So they reveal all kinds of things that we didn’t even know. You know, for our characters. We find out a lotta stuff, so, I think that’s the coolest part.”

So what are these supah secrets that are set to be revealed in this Saturday’s special? Unfortunately, they chose to keep that answer locked away in the dojo. You’ll just have to watch and see!
