Episode Ten — Koriand’r Synopsis:
As Kory’s memories come flooding back, she discovers her true mission, regarding Rachel. While Dick and Donna discover Kory’s alien origins, Rachel uses her powers to save Gar.
Now onto the full recap of episode ten!
After Rachel’s silent screams for help to Hank & Dawn, she is shown being burned by Kory’s hands as Kory’s eyes glow green and the rest of her is glazed with fire.
After screaming for a few beats, Gar finally steps in and saves Rachel from being hurt by Kory’s powerful grip although, it was shown to be a bad move on his part as he’s sent flying into Dick with ease as soon as Dick enters the house.
“Nice catch..”
Dick helps Gar up after being tossed into him, when Kory comes to it after being knocked out by Donna, she has no recollection of hurting Rachel.
As Angela is tending to Rachel’s wounds, Gar brings her an ice pack and sits with her as Angela offers to go make them some food. Gar and Rachel is sitting at the table and Rachel is feeling guilty about what happened with Kory and she’s blaming herself over it all.
Rachel warns Gar that he can’t stay here because people tend to get hurt if they stay around her too long. After Rachel’s demon-soul comes out when Gar reaches to touch her hand, he gets up and excuses himself after Angela enters the kitchen.
While Gar is looking through the house upstairs, he enters into a bedroom and notices his reflection looks off as he gets a closer look and sees blood running down his chin from his mouth causing him to quickly become paranoid and leave the room and step outside for fresh air.
While outside, he tries calling Dick but the line gets all static-y before cutting out all together before looking out into the distance to see the Doctor he killed back in the Asylum when he was protecting Rachel, Angela and himself, starting to have flashbacks of that night.
Rachel stepped outside to comfort and check on Gar as she takes back what she said earlier in which that he can’t stay here and he should leave changing it into the fact that he should stay and she wishes he would.
Later on, Gar is seen sleeping in a bedroom upstairs after his rough morning as Angela watches him sleep.Gar wakes up coughing, feeling very weak as he slowly steps towards the bathroom, looking paler than normal. He’s checking his mouth and tongue to see if there’s anything there before starting to choke as he passed out and seizing as blood runs from his nose.
Gar is bleeding uncontrollably as more blood would pour out as fast as Rachel wipes the blood away. Angela talks Rachel into using her powers to save Gar but Rachel can feel Gar dying as her powers aren’t working. Angela consistently talks Rachel into summoning her father in order to save Gar and bring Trigon home.
Once Rachel has summoned Trigon and brought him back into this dimension, Rachel asks her father if he can bring Gar back to life in which he grants her request.
“Is it time to eat the world?” – Angela
“Not until her heart breaks.” – Trigon
