Prior to Day 1:

Ryan Potter announced he was attending the Ocala Comic Con in Ocala, Florida on September 16th (Saturday) and September 17th, 2023 (Sunday) in which I was estatic due to Ryan Potter and Florida being in the same sentence, since Florida is one of his forgotten states and he doesn’t come here professionally, often enough! It was also only an hour and a half away from where I lived, which was even better! As soon as Ryan announced he would be there, I booked a hotel (since that’s usually the first thing to fill up.) and at the end of July, I finally purchased the VIP weekend tickets for Ocala Con and I think it was in August when I finally pre-purchased his Photo Ops for both days to secure all the pre-sales and since I booked the hotel, I was saving up enough money throughout the months to be able to spend on his booth while I was there since none of the other guests piqued my interest. It was just waiting until the day to finally be able to meet my favorite actor in the world.

I arrived in Ocala at about 5:30pm on September 15th, checked into my hotel and then immediately left to go pick up my VIP tickets since Ocala Comic Con was doing an early ticket pick up from 1pm until 7pm. I got to the World Equestrian Center at 6pm where I spent nearly 45 minutes talking the Con Staff’s ears off about Ryan Potter, how excited I was to be able to finally meet him, how much he meant to me and about my website for him. I also showed them the special design that I had made up with help from Deanna, made especially for Ryan-Potter.org. I got it printed on two T-Shirts (one for me, one for Ryan) and a tote bag for myself!

Day 1 – Saturday:

I got to the venue at about 9:00am, and was steadily waiting in the 90 degree heat.
